Learn to Row
Programs Start In April. Make This the Year YOU Learn To Row!
The Nicomekl Learn to Row (LTR) Program operates under a simple concept - learn to row while having fun! Our program is straightforward - we teach you rowing fundamentals, and you enjoy the camaraderie of Nicomekl club members while you model their skills. Come appreciate the beauty of the scenic Nicomekl River while skimming along its surface! Our Learn-to-Row programs are designed for people who have never rowed before. That being said, they are also attended by individuals that have been away from the sport for a while and wish to refresh their rowing technique.
Experienced coaches teach rowing and boat handling skills to get you started on a lifetime activity that you can enjoy for recreation and exercise. Learn to Row programs begin in April, typically in the first week of each month. Each LTR program runs with a crew of five people and options are two midweek evenings, or Saturday/Sunday mornings or afternoons - depending on the tide and availability of day light (April has the Saturday/Sunday option only).
See the Current LTR Schedule presented to the right of this page for Program Duration and Crew Dates and Times that might work for you. Whether you are brand new to rowing, love it and want to learn more, or are returning to the sport after a break, we have a program or coach that will help you take things to the next level on the water!
